We emphasize outcomes over dogma, focusing on unifying developers, platforms to drive modern software excellence, system resilience, and business value. We aim to provide guidance, foster collaboration, and support CNCF projects that enhance productivity, usability, user experience, and improve developer satisfaction within the cloud native ecosystem.

TAG Developer Experience focuses on improving the developer experience in cloud native environments, covering databases, microservices, streaming, messaging, API management, and developer frameworks.

TAG Infrastructure develops and promotes practices, standards, and assessments for core cloud native infrastructure areas, enabling systems, applications, and architectures that are scalable, resilient, secure, and performant.

TAG Operational Resilience is dedicated to operational resilience and reliability practices in cloud native systems, covering observability, management, business continuity, resource optimization, cost efficiency, energy, performance, troubleshooting, reliability, and Day 2 operations.

TAG Security and Compliance addresses security and compliance concerns in cloud native systems through best practices, assessments, tooling, policy-as-code, threat modeling, and secure software supply chain practices.

TAG Workloads Foundation defines and advances practices and standards for fundamental cloud native workload execution environments and their related lifecycle management within cloud native systems, applications, and architectures.
